The United Chinese News of Florida is  a local Chinese language community newspaper catering to the Asian population of Florida.   Our newspaper, presently a weekly publication, has distribution points in the South Florida region from Miami-Dade County to Orange County on the east coast and Collier and Hillsborough Counties on the west coast.  Our major hubs include greater Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Naples.

    The United Chinese News of Florida covers stories concerning nationwide news as well as news in Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.  Additionally, we report on local news, business trends and community activities within our regions of concentration.  We have journalists contributing articles on sports, arts and entertainment and regularly include full length pieces on:

    Music: concerts held at BankAtlantic Center, Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena, Mizner Park Amphitheater, Pompano Beach Amphitheater, American Airlines Arena as well as the Broward Center and Carnival Centers for the Performing Arts;

    Sports: Miami Heat Basketball, Warriors Boxing, Ultimate Fighting Championship,  Orange Bowl Classic, Miami Dolphins and Marlins baseball;

    The Arts: Miami City Ballet, Miami Hispanic Ballet; The International Ballet Festival of Miami,

   Special Events: South Florida Dragon Boat Festival, Champions on Ice featuring Michelle Kwan, Dancing With the Stars, American Idol Concert Tour and

     Some of these features are published in both Chinese and English.

     The United Chinese News of Florida publishes 10,000 issues per week.  Regional distribution is as follows:

      At this time we deliver 200 issues to the Jacksonville area.  We are in the process of expanding our presence in that market.
